Petites Sardines is a playful mixed-media piece inspired by colourful vintage sardine tins, European food packaging and the simple joy of finding something unexpectedly fun on a supermarket shelf.
Three hand-sculpted clay sardines sit inside their painted tin, surrounded by layers of pink, coral, navy, blue and sunny yellow. The bold checked background and deliberately wonky details give the piece its cheerful, handmade character.
