Tidal Whispers

A patchwork of colour, texture and movement inspired by the ever-changing ocean.

Tidal Whispers is created using the Japanese art of kinusaiga, with individual pieces of fabric carefully tucked into hand-cut channels to form flowing ribbons of water. Tiny surfers and swimmers appear amongst the waves like little discoveries, adding a playful sense of scale and life to the piece.

Rich blues, turquoise and unexpected flashes of colour move across the surface, creating an original textile artwork that reveals something new each time you look.
